Young boy under care of State Government located after going missing from Cannington

A 12-year-old boy under the care of the State Government has been found safe and well after he went missing on Wednesday.

The Department of Communities confirmed the boy had been located following a public appeal for information.

Police were assisting with the search for the boy before he was located safe and well. He was initially missing from the Cannington area.
