Tamika Chesser pregnant: Beauty and the Geek star, charged with partner’s beheading, expecting child
Tamika Chesser, a former Beauty and the Geek star charged with beheading her partner Julian Story in June, is pregnant.
Chesser, 34, allegedly murdered Story, 39, cut off his head, hid it and then burned his body at a Port Lincoln unit.
The former reality star has been held since police were called to the couple’s property after a neighbour called authorities in over smoke coming from Chesser’s backyard.
An enormous search was launched for Story’s head after his death.
CCTV footage emerged of a woman, heavily disguised and walking three dogs, carrying a large bag.
Police allege that the woman is Chesser and that Story’s head was being transported inside the bag she was carrying.
Story’s head was eventually located on July 31 by dog walker Tyson McCallum in a scrub off Slipway Road.
Chesser is currently staying at James Nash House, a psychiatric facility in South Australia.
The Adelaide Advertiser reports that Chesser is expected to give birth in early 2025.
The identity of the father has not been disclosed.
Due to Chesser’s mental health, it is expected that South Australia will remove the baby from her custody.
In South Australia, Child Protection can remove a baby from a parent and put the guardianship of the state.
“The circumstances of this murder are particularly harrowing, confronting and distressing,” Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said after Chesser’s arrest.
“Major Crime detectives have spoken with Julian’s family, who are devastated by his loss and also by the circumstances surrounding his death.”
