A man wearing a surgical mask and ugg boots allegedly held up a pharmacy in Port Kennedy.

Regional Investigations Unit Detectives are investigating the armed robbery they say occurred yesterday about12:30pm.

Detectives allege a man walked into a pharmacy on Warnbro Sound Avenue with a handgun and demanded prescription medications from staff and left the store after obtaining a number of boxes.

No staff were injured.

The suspect is described as being aged in his 20s, fair skinned, with short black hair.

Detectives say he was wearing a grey and green checked long sleeve jacket, black bandanna, long grey puma pants and ugg boots.

His face was covered by a surgical mask.
