It's on this week: punk, burlesque, and Abbe May - SWSC open day and Unleashed! What's on your Top 10 list?

1. Frenzal Rhomb

One of Australia's longest lasting punk bands will swing by Bunbury as part of their national tour. Frenzal Rhomb has been around since 1992 and have had albums chart in the ARIA Top 20. Their show at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Friday night is one of a few added to their tour, which will be the band's last shows before heading to the United States to record a new album.

2. Fire and Nice

Two South West artists will be showcased in a new exhibition at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. Ria Bignell and Peter O'Shaughnessy's work in the mediums of oil, acrylic and pastel will be on show in the Fire and Nice exhibition. Their work on the subject of landscapes will be the focus and Bignell will conduct demonstrations during the exhibition. It officially opens on Friday night and runs until July 26.

3. Slammers at home

The Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers will take to their home court for the third last time in the regular season on Saturday. East Perth Eagles are this week's opponents at Eaton Recreation Centre with the women's match starting at 6pm and the men's clash at 8pm. The women will be looking for a win that could prove crucial to their chances of playing finals while the men will look to nail down a top four position when they host last season's champions, who have struggled in 2015.

4. SWSC Open Day

South West Sports Centre will be a hub of activity on Sunday when it holds an open day. There will be free entry, a prize draw and plenty of activities. Events on the day include facepainting, a petting zoo, giant inflatables, bubble soccer, showbags, giveaways and a Slammers basketball clinic. It runs from 10am until 2pm at the centre.

5. Burlesque show

Get ready for a massive night of glitz, glamour and tease as Sugar Blue Burlesque brings the preview of the Annual Perth International Burlesque Festival to Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Friday night. Performers include festival headliners Vicky Butterfly from London, Medianoche from New York, Lillian Starr from Sydney and Trixi Tassels from London as well as other incredible burlesque sensations. 6. Abbe May

Bunbury-raised musician Abbe May is back in her home town for a show at the Prince of Wales Hotel. May has been ARIA nominated for best female artist and is working on her sixth album. Her shows have been described as charismatic, intense and provocative and her music crosses multiple genres. Catch May's return to Bunbury on Thursday night.

7. Off the leash

Two sessions in Bunbury City Council's Unleashed school holiday program will be held this week. On Thursday, a day of fun, including an introduction to golf and making musical masterpieces with traditional African djembe drums will take place between 9am and 4pm. On Monday, there will be a river kayaking adventure down the Collie River between 9.30am and 3pm. The events are aimed at 10-17 year olds. 8. Magic Mike

A sequel to the 2012 comedy-drama Magic Mike will hit Grand Cinemas Bunbury on Thursday. The film is set three years after the original and again features lead character Mike (played by Channing Tatum) who bumps into the other Kings of Tampa members. He decides to come out of retirement as a stripper for one last performance, with a road trip along the way. Magic Mike XXL is rated MA15+.

9. School holiday fun

Boredom busting activities will be available across Bunbury during the school holidays. Bunbury and Withers libraries will hold sessions throughout the week including story time, board games and Lego. Australind Library will have a Disney theme throughout the holidays, including a dress-up day tomorrow and a chance to create a character on Thursday. Shopping centres will also have their traditional activities, including a Winter Wonderland theme at the Parks Centre.

10. Warriors in action

South West Warriors are at home again on Saturday afternoon. The region's rugby league side will play against Kalamunda Bulldogs in a match that kicks off at 2pm at Bunbury Recreation Ground. With both teams close to each other on the ladder, it represents a good chance for the Warriors to secure a victory in front of their home fans.
