Michael Brennan-trained Nomorepintsforyou left punters feeling refreshed at Donaldson Park on Wednesday, after he claimed all-the-way honours in the Tint City/Sign City 4YO+ Pace (2100m).

The four-year-old, who scored by 4.2m from Rascal, rated 1.57.9 in the triumph, while Vanessa Brockman’s Auckland Jet overcame a tricky draw to run third.

Driven by Trent Wheeler, Nomorepintsforyou charged clear following the release of the mobile and succesfully commandeered a cosy position on the pegs for the remainder of the journey.

Despite veteran reinsman Gary Hall Jr flirting with the lead at times while piloting Rascal, Wheeler needed little to prompt the four-year-old in finding another gear with less than 50m to run.

Brennan’s gelding has now won or placed in five of his first five starts, although he has yet to race at Gloucester Park, which is likely to give true insight into his progression.
