With just one more round of the regular AFL season left, the AFL’s South West footy stars have once again had limited opportunities to showcase their talents.

Harvey’s Brady Hough and Manjimup’s Marlion Pickett both featured in round 22 of the 2022 AFL season, with both putting in solid efforts during their respective matches.

Starting in the back pocket during West Coast’s Western Derby match against Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Saturday, Hough had a tough challenge ahead of him in tagging Fremantle star forward Michael Walters.

Despite the Eagles falling short 9.17 (71) to 7.5 (47), Hough managed 11 disposals, seven marks, four intercept possessions, 12 pressure acts and a clearance.

Meanwhile, Pickett was one step closer to reaching another finals berth in Richmond’s 20.8 (128) to 9.13 (67) win over Hawthorn at the MCG on Sunday.
