A newly-minted Perth P-plater is fortunate to have walked away from a rollover without injury.

The driver, who is understood to have had their driver’s licence’ for all of four days, came unstuck along Empire Avenue in Wembley Downs about 12.30pm.

Pictures from the scene show the van resting on its side — passenger-side down — in the middle of the road.

The driver was able to remove themselves from the car, which was the only vehicle involved in the incident.

Paramedics attended but did not have to transport anyone to hospital.

The van has since been loaded onto a tow truck and removed from the scene.
