Perth traffic: Road reopen after serious crash on Guildford Road

A major road has reopened after a serious crash in Bayswater on Thursday morning, which left a teenage motorcyclist critically injured.
The incident occurred on Guildford Road early this morning, with emergency services called to the scene at 7.10am.
The teenage rider was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital by St John WA at 7.42am after the crash.
Guildford Road was shut between Garratt Road and Roberts Street for several hours on Thursday morning while authorities tended to the scene.
Main Roads reopened the road at 12pm, and traffic has commenced flowing through the area.
WA Police have confirmed to PerthNow that inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
The slew of crashes comes following a hectic week on Perth roads, with four lives claimed in crashes on WA roads in less than 24 hours last Wednesday.
