Perth traffic: Crashes on Stirling Highway and Mitchell Freeway cause headaches for motorists
The sun is shining and the earlier headaches on Perth’s roads have largely been cleared, so enjoy the weather and the drive.
A crash on Stirling Highway southbound at Marmion Street in East Fremantle has been cleared and traffic is flowing freely after it had been reduced to a single lane in both directions.
The left lane on Mitchell Freeway southbound after Hepburn Avenue in Greenwood has been reopened after an accident.
Traffic was backed up to Whitfords Avenue but is starting to clear.
An accident on Roe Highway westbound before Willeri Drive in Canning Vale has also been cleared, with traffic starting to move freely.
Motorists should watch out for vehicle debris on Mitchell Freeway southbound after Hutton Street in Osborne Park.
The centre lane is affected and caution is advised, though traffic is slowing.
There is also debris on Mitchell Freeway northbound before Burns Beach Road in Joondalup.
A roll of carpet is in the end the right lane.
Unfortunately, traffic is slow on approach on Albany Highway westbound at Nicholson Road in Beckenham where a crash has reduced motorists to a single lane.
Ambulance and towing services are onsite.
Traffic is also heavy but clearing on approach to Stirling Highway southbound after Tydeman Road in North Fremantle, where a truck breakdown blocked the left lane.
