A street in Perth’s CBD was shut to motorists during peak-hour on Wednesday morning after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Sutherland Street heading southbound near Roe Street was closed by emergency services after the incident in West Perth was reported shortly after 7:20am.
WA Police confirmed the incident involved a car and a pedestrian.
St John WA said a teenage girl has been raced to Royal Perth Hospital under lights and sirens.
The road has since reopened at 8.40am but Main Roads warns that traffic is slow through the area.
