Police are investigating a possible arson attack on a home north-east of Perth that left a man in hospital with significant burns.
Two DFES crews rushed to the home on Coree Lane in Ellenbrook about 4.30pm on Tuesday after the fire broke out.
A 45-year-old man was found with serious burns and taken by St John Ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Firefighters contained the blaze to a bedroom before leaving the scene shortly before 6pm.
Other occupants who were home at the time were safely evacuated.
Arson Squad investigators are appealing for information and are particularly interested in CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage captured around the home at the time of the fire.
