Brunswick fatal crash: Man dies in horror crash with two passengers seriously injured

A man has died after his car veered off the road and struck a tree in the South West on Thursday night. The horrific crash happened along Forrest Highway, in Brunswick after the 29-year-old driver lost control of his Holden Commodore and crashed. Emergency services were called to the crash site near the Brunswick River Bridge crossing about 7.40pm, but despite extensive medical efforts the man died at the scene. Police say he had two passengers in the car who received serious injuries as a result of the crash. They were rushed to Bunbury Hospital for treatment. The tragic crash marks the fifth fatality on WA roads this festive season. It is the 158th fatal crash this year, with 102 of those fatalities occurring on regional roads.
