Parmelia house ‘engulfed in flames’ on Tuesday, with two young children taken to hospital
A toddler and an infant have been taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation after a house fire in Parmelia.
Firefighters were called to the home on Povey Place about 10.20am to find the brick and tile home fully engulfed in flames.
It took firefighters about an hour to get the blaze under control.
Two children, a toddler and infant, both boys, were taken to Rockingham General Hospital for a check-up after it is believed they suffered smoke inhalation.
