Perth petrol prices: Fuel to soar to second record high this week at average of 215 cpl on Thursday

Perth motorists are being urged to fill up yet again with fuel soaring to another record high on Thursday.

From 6am Thursday, drivers in Perth will be hit with an average unleaded petrol price of 215 cents per litre.

This is up from the average record high price of 214.4 cpl on Wednesday - which trumped the city’s previous high of 212.9 cpl set late in March.

BP fuel stations will have the most expensive fuel at an average of 219.9 cpl. Caltex/Ampol outlets will follow at an average price of 219.8.

Motorists should be on the lookout for the cheapest fuel at Vibe outlets where the average price is 201.5 cpl.

Diesel prices will average at 214.9 cpl on Thursday.

Thursday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 189.9 cpl at Vibe Subiaco
  • 191.7 at Puma Victoria Park
  • 199.5 cpl at NightOwl Shell Highgate
