Police from Tactical Response Group attend ‘emergency situation’ on farm near Mullewa in WA’s Mid West
UPDATE: A 45-year-old man has been arrested and two police vehicles damaged in an incident involving heavily armed police in WA’s Mid West today.
A WA Police spokesman said police were called to the farm soon after 8am today in response to concerns for the man’s welfare.
Officers from the Tactical Response Group were called in when police were led to believe the man may have access to firearms.
The spokesman said the man tried to leave a farm in Pindar, near Mullewa, about 5.10pm and his vehicle collided with two police vehicles, causing minor damage.
The man is helping police with inquiries.

The spokesman said there were no concerns for public safety during the incident.
