WA Fisheries and Housing Minister Peter Tinley will join The West Live this morning to discuss the State's rental crisis and shark mitigation ahead of summer.

Perth's residential vacancy rate has fallen below one per cent, only the third time in 40 years and the lowest level in 13 years.

The West Australian on Monday revealed severe overcrowding in Perth's suburbs and the toll having to share a one-bedroom apartment between six was taking on Ellen Corbett’s family.

Mr Tinley is also expected to weigh in on WA's trade dispute struggles with China through his Asian Engagement portfolio.
