Ukraine has destroyed the headquarters of notorious pro-Kremlin mercenaries after a Russian propagandist gave away its location with a picture of a street sign.

Rockets hit the Wagner paramilitary group in Popasna in the occupied eastern region of Luhansk on Sunday.

Pro-Kremlin journalist Sergei Sreda posted pictures of himself online last week shaking hands with oligarch and close Vladimir Putin confidante Yevgeny Prigozhin.

But a sign with a bomb shelter’s address was visible, allowing Ukrainian officials to track down the base’s location.
