Oval Office medical emergency: Donald Trump announcement halted as man faints

A Donald Trump Oval Office announcement has become a medical emergency, as a representative went down and TV doctor Mehmet Oz leapt in to assist.
The US President was announcing an agreement with Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk that would see citizens access weight loss drugs, many which are used to treat diabities as well, at a reduced cost.
With the new deal, US citizens can access drugs like Wegovy and Zepbound from $US250 per month.
During the live-streamed address, the announcement had to be halted as a representative from one of the businesses “went down”.
The man, standing meters from Mr Trump in the Oval Office, appeared to pass out, before falling to the ground.

Dr Oz, who leads the Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the Trump Administration, was standing nearby, and jumped into action.
Media were sent out of the room urgently as the medical emergency unfolded.
White House Press Secretarty Karoline Leavitt announced shortly after that the man was doing “okay”.
“During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted,” she said.
“The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay. The Press Conference will resume shortly.”
As the announcement resumed, Mr Trump said the man was under “doctor’s care”.
“One of the representatives of one of the companies got a little light-headed and so they went down, and he’s fine,” Mr Trump said.
“He’s got doctor’s care, but he’s fine. So we had a little bit of an interruption. Sorry for that.”
During the emergency, someone could be heard saying, “Gordon, are you okay?”. There are mixed reports on the person’s identity.
