Pauline Hanson and One Nation are leading the Coalition for support in every major state except Victoria according to the latest NewsPoll.

The survey conducted between January 12 and March 26 shows Labor has also seen an electoral slide over the past three months amid the Bondi Beach terror attack in December, rising inflation, higher interest rates, fuel shortages and the worsening cost of living crisis.

State-by-state averages and demographic breakdowns of the 4927 voters survey, found One Nation’s strongest primary vote was in Queensland at 30 per cent, is now larger than the primary vote of the ALP (27 per cent) and the Liberal National Party (23 per cent).

Pauline Hanson and her team have also grabbed support from the Coalition in Western Australia among Gen Z and Millennial voters and has more than doubled support among voters aged 18 to 34 since the last survey by NewsCorp.

One Nation has moved ahead of the Coalition as the third most popular party for younger Australians, behind Labor and the Greens.

The party clinched a number of Lower House seats in South Australia’s recent election, with One Nation taking home a significant 21 per cent of first preference votes in a blow to the major parties.

The gains in Hammond and Ngadjuri mark the first time that One Nation has made secured lower house seats at the ballot box outside of Queensland.
