Coronavirus cases in the West Coast camp have caused the postponement of Friday's scheduled AFLW match.

The Eagles were due to play St Kilda at Frankston Oval in Melbourne on Friday night in a round four fixture.

But the AFL says "multiple players" from West Coast are currently in isolation under the competition's health and safety protocols.

The winless Eagles have been in a Melbourne hub since round two of the AFLW season.

West Coast are scheduled to play Collingwood next Tuesday but the AFL's competition manager Laura Kane says future fixturing for the club will be decided in due course.
