It’s the final day of swimming action as we look to add to a whopping haul of golds, and there’s also lots happening in track-and-field off the back of an impressive first couple of days.

Strong track start
Monique Hanlon let Gross enjoy the fastest heat time for a few minutes before taking it with her 23.12 second run.
The Aussie pair secure finals spots with Australia starting strong in on the track.
Swimming action starts
In the pool Tara Kinder starts off Australia’s efforts for the Games’ final day of swimming.
She raced neck and neck with Scotland’s Angharad Evans and both competitors picked up the pace in the final 50m, as the Scotswoman held on to win.
Kinder and Ella Ramsay both finished well enough to qualify for the final.
Gross runs guns blazing
Over on the track, Mia Gross left nothing up to chance in her heat.
Flying around the bend, her 23.21 second 200m was fastest in the second heat to qualify for the semi final
‘Oh my God!’
West could hardly contain her excitement after a 6.13m PB jump - a massive improvement on her first attempt.
While Scerri kept her composure as she retains top spot for now.
Scerri leaps off
First to kick off the action is the women’s Heptathlon, with long jump taking centre stage.
On her opening attempt Mia Scerri has put herself in a strong position, with a group leading 6.29m jump.
Tori West has plenty of room for improvement after her 5.74m leap.
Welcome to day six!
While it might be the final day of swimming there is still plenty of Commonwealth Games action on the horizon.
