A lucky Melbourne grandma has beaten the odds and won lotto twice in just weeks.

The Eltham woman, who wants to remain anonymous, won $200,000 on Friday - six weeks after she won the same amount in another lottery draw.

"It's unbelievable. I only won a few weeks ago. I can't believe it has happened again," she said.

The money will help pay off a new mortgage.

"The last windfall enabled me to put a deposit on a new home closer to my daughter," the grandmother said.

"It was a bit daunting getting a home loan again after paying off the last one, but now everything's fine."

The lucky winner said she has been in a daze ever since finding out she had won the first $200,000 prize.

"I'm still in a daze.

"It's just incredible. I'm so lucky."

The winner bought her ticket online.
