Perth-born wellness brand Bodhi is taking its holistic approach to luxury spa experiences interstate, with its first Bodhi Spa + Bathhouse set to open at Hobart’s The Tasman hotel this September.

The new wellness space will bring the brand’s signature blend of massage therapies, botanical facials and holistic treatments to Hobart, while introducing something we haven’t previously been able to experience from Bodhi — a dedicated bathhouse.

Inspired by ancient bathing traditions, the bathhouse has been designed around contrast therapy, where guests are allowed to move between a sauna, steam room and cold plunge, before unwinding in a magnesium pool, thermal lounges and relaxation spaces.

The spa will feature four treatment rooms, including two couples’ suites, with treatments using skincare products from fellow Perth brand Sodashi and a focus on restorative wellness rather than simple indulgence.

The interiors also draw heavily on Tasmania’s natural landscape, incorporating stone, timber and earthy textures intended to reflect the island’s rugged wilderness.
