For readers outside the metro area, MyHoliday has just released a Perth and Broome eight-day getaway which has bonus value.

It starts with two nights at the 4½-star Peppers Kings Square and a full day in Perth.

Then travellers fly to Broome, to stay five nights at 4½-star Mantra Frangipani, Cable Beach in a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen.

There is a full-day tour to Cygnet Bay and a Buccaneer Archipelago Sea Safari, with a gourmet lunch.

The whole package is valued at $2240 per person, twin share, but at the moment costs from only $1990 per person, excluding flights. But a spokesperson for MyHoliday says there is a complimentary one-way flight from Perth to Broome.

It has to be booked by June 17, 2022, and is valid from travel to October 15, 2022. Seasonal surcharges and block out dates may apply.
