Brooklyn Beckham responds after Gordon Ramsay warns ‘penny will drop’ on feud with Victoria and David
Brooklyn Beckham has hit back at his father’s close friend Gordon Ramsay on Instagram after the celebrity chef slammed him in an interview, amid his ongoing feud with his parents, Victoria and David Beckham.
Ramsay insisted he and Brooklyn still have a good relationship, but said he believes Brooklyn is ‘infatuated’ with his wife, Nicola Peltz, which played a role in his decision to cut ties with his parents.
Ramsay added: “He’s desperate to forge his own way, and I respect that from Brooklyn. It’s such a good thing to do. But remember where you came from.
“And honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that. That penny will drop.
“Brooklyn and I have messaged a little bit, our relationship is solid. I love him – his heart is incredible.
“But it’s hard, isn’t it, when you’re infatuated? Love is blind. It’s easy to get up on that rollercoaster, and get carried away. But it will come back.”
Brooklyn has now unfollowed Ramsay but Ramsay still follows Brooklyn.
The chef, whose son Jack was Brooklyn’s closest childhood friend, also praised the Beckhams’ parenting. “I’ve seen first-hand just how good parents they are. David as a dad is just incredible.
“They’ve both put so much energy into their kids, and I know just how many times they’ve got Brooklyn out of the s***.
“I think it’s going to be a matter of time before Brooklyn takes a good look at himself and understands just what his parents mean to him.”
Ramsay also addressed claims surrounding Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding, when Brooklyn alleged his mother, Victoria, danced “inappropriately” during his first dance with Ms Peltz. The chef dismissed the allegations:
“We were there at the wedding. There was nothing salacious. There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun, having a dance.”
Although Brooklyn has blocked some family members on Instagram, he has not blocked Ramsay. Ramsay is still following Brooklyn
