Perth’s next generation of doctors and lawyers gathered at UWA Tavern on July 24 for the revived Suits & Scrubs event.

Returning after several years, the mixer was jointly hosted by the Western Australian Medical Students’ Society (WAMSS) and the Blackstone Society, UWA’s law students’ society.

However, contrary to what their eventual careers may dictate, UWA law students from Years 1–3 dressed in scrubs, while UWA medical students from Years 1–4 dressed in suits.

The light-hearted evening centred around cocktails, conversation and connections, with friendly rivalry encouraged between the two faculties.

With the reprised event deemed a success, both societies hope to continue the tradition in the years to come.
