Big musical line-up set to rock the hills at Denmark’s Castelli Estate, including Birds of Tokyo and Jet

Castelli Estate is set to come alive this long weekend with some of Australia’s most-loved acts heading to the Great Southern for a huge outdoor concert, attracting thousands of music-goers. Wine, wide-open skies and live music will collide when Birds of Tokyo, Little Birdy and Jet take to the stage at Castelli Estate, drawing music fans from across the region and beyond. Set amongst the hills of Denmark, the event promises a full afternoon and evening of live entertainment, with gates opening at 3pm on Saturday and performances running into the night. Music lovers can expect a festival-style atmosphere, complete with food and drinks available on site and plenty of space to soak up the music. Birds of Tokyo will bring their catalogue of anthems and lively performances, while Jet are set to deliver their signature high energy rock sound. Event organiser Lydia Spencer said they were expecting a big turn out for the weekend. “We will have over 2000 patrons this year,” she said. “A lot of people come from Perth, flooding the town of Denmark.” Ms Spencer said the event was family friendly and one the Denmark community looked forward to every year. “It’s very family friendly so people can bring their camping chairs and little picnic and relax for the afternoon so it’s a nice weekend away,” she said. “It’s very anticipated down here in Denmark — it’s usually very successful.” A bus shuttle travelling from Albany to Denmark and surrounds will be available for attendees to get to and from the venue.
