Northbridge violence: One man fighting for life and another seriously injured in separate alleged assaults

A young man is fighting for life and another has been seriously injured in two separate alleged assaults in the early hours of Monday morning at Northbridge. WA Police allege that an altercation broke out between two groups of people just after 2am. During the fight, a man in his 20s was knocked to the ground and physically assaulted on Francis Street. He was left unconscious and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with life-threatening injuries. An hour earlier, another man in his 20s was allegedly attacked in a separate and left unconscious on Roe Street. He was also taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. A 19-year-old man from Kenwick has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm over one of the attacks, while a 23-year-old man from Sinagra has been charged over the other incident with one count of endangering the life, health or safety of a person.
