Tigers trio dominate up forward in big GFL reserves win

Boulder’s pursuit of a third consecutive flag in the Goldfields Football League’s reserves competition is back on track after they brushed aside Railways by 55 points, 14.15 (99) to 7.2 (44), in last Saturday’s Anzac round.
The Tigers needed just three goalkickers en route to their first win of 2025 after Aidan Anderson, Lewis Johns, and Jarrod Best combined for the side’s 14 goals.
Anderson led the way with eight from Johns (four) and Best (two), who looks primed for another big season after his best-on-ground display in last year’s grand final triumph against Mines Rovers.
The margin was just 21 points at the main break, but Boulder flexed their muscles with nine goals to three in the second half.
In the colts, Boulder also enjoyed a nine-goal second half to easily beat Railways, 16.9 (105) to 2.2 (14).
Ashton Connlley and Kaleb Walley each booted three goals for the Tigers.
