Kwinana Freeway northbound shut at Beeliar Drive as emergency services rush to serious vehicle rollover

Kwinana Freeway has been shut as emergency services rush to the scene of a serious vehicle rollover.

Around 1.40pm, a white DAF semitrailer truck collided with a Suzuki Jimny, causing the SUV to flip and roll across the lane.

The driver of the Jimny — a man in his 30s — exited the vehicle without injuries and did not require assistance from paramedics.

WA Police, St John and firefighters all attended the scene, with police assisting in redirecting the traffic

The crash has resulted in the closure of northbound lanes at Beeliar Drive, Success, with Main Roads WA warning traffic is expected to be heavy in the area into the evening.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
