Perth traffic: Vehicle rollover closes lanes on Mitchell Freeway northbound exit to Charles Street, West Perth

A vehicle rollover has closed a road and multiple lanes on Mitchell Freeway northbound, causing major delays for drivers on Sunday afternoon.

The rollover is located on the Freeway exit to Charles Street in West Perth and was reported by Main Roads just after 3pm.

Emergency services including an ambulance are on the scene, as it appears multiple vehicles have been impacted by the incident.

The exit to Charles Street has been completely closed, causing heavy traffic leading up to the site.

Main Roads has advised motorists to seek an alternative route and avoid the area if planning to travel on the Freeway northbound.

The rollover comes after a horror weekend on WA roads, as six people have been killed in traffic incidents.
