Heavy fog blanketing the Perth area on Tuesday morning has led to disruptions for motorists, with a spate of incidents across metropolitan roads causing road closures and heavy delays.

Commuters travelling westbound through Armadale Road have been urged to seek an alternative route as police tend to an incident after Beeliar Drive.

Tonkin Highway faces gridlock as a crash near Leach Highway in Redcliffe leaves only one lane open to motorists, with drivers advised to expect delays throughout the area.

Another vehicle crash at Reid Highway westbound near Erindale Road has resulted in heavy traffic congestion backed up to Wanneroo Road.

  • Drive to the conditions
  • Switch headlights on
  • Ensure safe breaking distances
