Fremantle claimed their first minor premiership since 2015 in a thrilling win in front of more than 50,000 at Optus Stadium on Friday night.
The Dockers were looking to respond after just their third loss of the season to Melbourne in an MCG classic last week, but were without second-year superstar Murphy Reid as he recovers from a groin injury.
Adelaide left out retiring veteran Taylor Walker despite the retiring forward travelling to WA as they push for a top four finish with only percentage keeping them out of a double chance.
