ABOUT ALBATROSS
Albatross Tours specialises purely in Europe, with smaller groups and longer stays, and has just released its Europe and UK 2027 tours and brochure.
They are trusted friends of Travel and we partnered with them for our successful tour through less-visited areas of Italy, with Stephen Scourfield travelling to Venice to start the tour. Megan French travelled with them on their Best of British tour. Steve McKenna travelled with them in France. The many stories from these trips have been published in these pages and can be found at thewest.com.au.
Albatross’ tours are a mix of highlights, smooth travel arrangements, excellent tour managers and guides, and enough free time to just wander, explore and be.
The Albatross spokesperson says: “When we design our Europe tours we look at each region and consider what can be done and should be done. And since our style of touring is easier and more enjoyable with longer stays, this enables you to experience a variety of exciting excursions and activities at a leisurely pace.”
There are three new itineraries for France for 2027, in addition to the many long-proven tours.
Albatross has been taking guests on tours in Europe for more than 30 years and, as founder and tour designer Euan Landsborough says: “We design our tours for Australians and New Zealanders who appreciate a truly leisurely pace.
“By prioritising shorter drives and extended stays of three nights or more, we ensure you have the ‘my time’ needed to actually experience the destinations you have travelled so far to see.”
