While travelling with little kids can be magical, it can also feel like you’re just parenting in a different postcode.
The idea of enjoying a child-free dinner or attending a special event while you’re away can feel easier said than done.
That’s where a new Australian app called NannyLane hopes to step in.

The on-demand childcare marketplace helps connect families with verified local nannies, making it possible to book care within minutes or schedule it well before departure.
According to NannyLane, every nanny available via the app undergoes identity and Working With Children Check verification, while parents can browse reviews, ratings and credentials before making a booking.
Features include secure in-app messaging, GPS tracking during bookings and advance reservations for up to three months.
Founded by working parents Julie and Patrick Menary, NannyLane was created to solve the real-world challenges families face when plans change or trusted child care isn’t available.
“Parents shouldn’t have to choose between bringing the kids and missing out on adult experiences, or staying home altogether,” NannyLane CEO Patrick Menary says. “NannyLane gives families confidence that they can access safe, reliable child care wherever they are.”
NannyLane is now available to download on the App Store and Google Play. Visit nannylane.com.au for more information.
