Alan and Rita Marshall, their son, Grant, and daughter-in-law Letisha are the happy winners of a Holden GM SV6 ute.

The Lake Grace grain and livestock producers and long-standing Elders Lake Grace clients were presented with the ute at a dinner on November 21 at the Lake Grace Sports Pavilion.

Branch clients, Elders staff and Holden representative Graham Broad, dealer principal of Edwards Motors in Narrogin, were in attendance.

The campaign to win the ute ran from September 1-30.

All clients who purchased $1500 or more of farm supplies during that time and paid using their Elders trading account were automatically entered into the draw.

Clients could put up to five entries into the draw for the first prize of the ute, worth $32,990, and five runner-up prizes of a signed Glenn McGrath cricket bat in each of the three zones - northern, southern and western. There were more than 3000 entries in the western zone alone.

Branch manager Lake Grace Karel Walker said the promotion was a success for Elders and the Lake Grace branch.

"It was wonderful to have a Lake Grace client win the major prize from such a big pool of entries in the western zone," she said.

"During September we had a promotional special on Waratah fencing products and also an end of financial year special pricing on numerous stocked products.

"To be able to offer these reduced prices to clients with the added benefit of automatically entering the draw really assisted our end to the Elders financial year."
