Forget Scott and Charlene.

TV’s biggest wedding is on the way — and it involves a couple of cartoon dogs!

The first trailer for Bluey’s up-coming 28-minute Bluey episode ‘The Sign’ released today, and features Bluey, Bingo and their cousins dressed as flower girls in readiness for a backyard wedding at the Heeler house.

Bluey creators aren’t confirming who’ll be walking down the aisle, but the trailer hints that it’s likely Bandit’s older brother Rad (Patrick Brammall) and his girlfriend Frisky (Claudia O’Doherty), who is Bluey’s godmother.

The pair first met in series two after they both babysat the girls in the episode titled, ‘Double Babysitter.’

They are then pictured enjoying a romantic holiday in ‘Christmas Swim.’

In an interview with the Bluey podcast Gotta Be done, creator Joe Brumm hinted that a Frisky/Rad wedding might be on the cards at some point, saying: “A wedding hasn’t happened between Rad and Frisky.

“But, I think, Christmas Swim, yeah, the idea is that the relationship’s started, maybe they’re engaged.

“And I love the idea of caricaturing an Australian wedding from the kid’s point of view… I’d like to try that.”

The Bluey facebook page also recently hinted that ‘all signs lead to romance’, with fans speculating that it meant Rad and Frisky’s big day was just around the corner.

Though their union hasn’t officially been confirmed, ABC Kids has confirmed a wedding will take place in the show’s 28-minute episode, set to air on April 14.

The much-anticipated episode will feature the voice talents of a number of well-known Australians, including the return of Megan Washington as Calypso, Patrick Brammall as Radley, Claudia O’Doherty as Frisky, Myf Warhurst as Trixie, and Rose Byrne as Brandy.

Rove McManus, Deborah Mailman, Brendan Williams and Joel Edgerton will also make their Bluey debut in the episode.

A week prior, fans will also be treated to another new episode, ‘Ghostbasket’, which will premiere on April 7.

It episode contains a major spoiler about what’s ahead.

Ghostbasket premieres on Sunday 7 April at 8am, and The Sign premieres on Sunday 14 April at 8am, both on ABC Kids and ABC iview.
