The 2023 Telethon Home is here and it is as impressive as ever.

Constructed by Home Group, the home is sleek and modern with touches of natural warmth.

Situated in the family-friendly and scenic Satterley’s Seaside Estate at Madora Bay, the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home sits pretty on a 450sqm block donated by Satterley.

“We are delighted to partner with Home Group again this year to produce another wonderful Telethon Home in our Seaside Estate community in Madora Bay,” Satterley Chief Executive Nigel Satterley said. “The location of this home – only 250m from the water’s edge – is amazing.”

Home Group General Manager Chris Del Paggio said the 2023 Telethon Home was the perfect blend of elegance and modern design.

“With high-end finishes and attention to detail throughout, it is the epitome of luxury living,” he said.

The facade effortlessly blends neutral colours and textures, with marble feature walls dissected by crisp white lines, allowing the greys of the garage door rendering and Colorbond roofing to stand out and create depth.

Upon entry, the home brings the nearby Madora Beach to you, with a relaxed and open-plan layout and fittings inspired by nature throughout.

Inside, high ceilings and immaculate tiled flooring define the foyer, leading you through double doors to the home’s expansive kitchen dining and living area, which has been designed to maximise space and natural light.

“The kitchen is a chef’s dream, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, Della Vita cabinetry and a large stone island bench, which serves as the perfect centrepiece for entertaining guests or hosting family gatherings,” Mr Del Paggio said.

Throughout the living space, wooden cabinetry, shelving and furniture add touches of nature to the white walls and flooring.

The primary bedroom sits at the front of the home and includes its own built-in entertainment centre, a grand walk-in robe and a resort-style ensuite.

“The additional bedrooms offer plenty of space for children and guests, and there is even a dedicated home office,” Mr Del Paggio said.

The abode also comprises a cosy home theatre, a dedicated laundry and a tranquil shaded alfresco for outdoor entertaining.

Overwhelming community support has driven the build and has added a special touch to the charitable drive of the 2023 Telethon Home.

Satterley Community Development Manager Lyndsey Stoney said Madora Bay Primary School students from Years 4, 5 and 6 had worked alongside local Mandurah artist Elli Moody to create a one of-a-kind artwork, which illustrated everything they loved about living in Madora Bay.

“It will be hung in the playroom at the 2023 Telethon Home and will be sold through an online auction, with all proceeds donated to Telethon,” she said.

The 2023 Telethon Home will be open throughout September on Wednesdays from 2-5pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm or by appointment, with 100 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of the home to be donated to Telethon.

The home’s sale price is set to be revealed at the 2023 Telethon Weekend on Saturday October 21 and Sunday October 22.
