Three people were injured in a serious crash yesterday evening which cut off road access to Broome for several hours.

Police say about 4pm Wednesday a Toyota Hilux travelling towards Broome and Landcruiser travelling the other way collided about 25km west of Roebuck Roadhouse.

The 31-year-old male Hilux driver and 35yo male Landcruiser driver were both taken to Broome Hospital with serious injuries, as was a 32yo female passenger in the Landcruiser.

The crash forced the closure of Broome Road four about three hours from 4pm Thursday evening as emergency services cleared the crash site.

Major Crash Investigators are now calling for information from those who may have witnessed the crash or the vehicles leading up to the incident.
