Luxury cruise line Silversea has released a mammoth new voyage collection for 2028-29, with 278 voyages across 497 destinations in 71 countries.
General sales open on July 9, with the collection already shaping up as one of the brand’s most expansive.
Among the biggest additions is Silversea’s most extensive Mediterranean expedition season to date. Aboard Silver Wind, guests will explore lesser-visited corners of the Adriatic, Greek Islands and North Africa, with Zodiac excursions, guided hikes and cultural experiences replacing the traditional “drive-by” cruise approach. The collection also introduces Baltic expedition voyages aboard Silver Endeavour.
For those with Antarctica on your bucket list, Silversea has further expanded its Fly Cruise program . . . Instead of crossing the often-rough Drake Passage by sea, guests stay at The Cormorant at 55 South in Chile before boarding a private charter flight directly into Antarctica, where their expedition begins. A total of 41 Antarctic voyages are scheduled across three ships, including departures over Christmas and New Year.
Longer itineraries are also in the spotlight. Silver Dawn will operate a new 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage, visiting 50 destinations across 13 countries, while Silver Nova will make its Northern Europe debut, sailing Norway’s spectacular heritage fjords alongside Baltic itineraries through Finland and Sweden.
Many of Silversea’s voyages have been timed to coincide with major cultural events, including the Monaco Grand Prix, Japan’s famous matsuri festivals, Scandinavia’s midsummer celebrations and Europe’s autumn grape harvest, allowing guests to experience destinations during some of their most vibrant seasons.
The collection also expands Silversea’s destination-focused S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) culinary experiences and introduces new pre- and post-cruise land programs in destinations including Finland and the Seychelles.
