Club tickled pink with ladies day

Catherine MayfieldCountryman

The third Bankwest Hyden Ladies Day was held in perfect conditions.

This year, it was a lovely 24 degrees with just enough breeze to keep the flies away.

The tennis club received an overwhelming response this year, experiencing its biggest ladies day yet, with 30 pairs of ladies entering.

The tennis club is still calculating final costs, but organisers expect to have raised more than $1000 for the McGrath Foundation.

The event was supported by Bankwest, CBH, Emerald, RSM Bird Cameron, Narrogin Sports and Camping, Essence of Beauty, Astrid Mead and SunSmart.
