Forum to address GM's future in ag

Pastoralists and Graziers Association of WA will host a free forum on genetically modified technology and its future in agriculture.

The public forum is an opportunity for city-based consumers and decision-makers to further their understanding of GM technology.

It will be chaired by former University of WA vice-chancellor and agriculture dean Emeritus Professor Alan Robson, with contributions from WA chief scientist Professor Lyn Beasley, Professor Jim Peacock, John Manners, Bryan Whan, John Snooke and Bill Crabtree. The forum is at 6pm on October 7 at Tattersal Lecture Theatre, near Guild Village in Nedlands.
