Two people have been airlifted to hospital following separate water incidents in the South West on Saturday.

A woman was flown to Royal Perth Hospital after a dinghy incident in Moodiarrup, near Darkan, with the RAC Rescue helicopter arriving about 4pm.

Earlier, a man was taken to the same hospital following a surfing incident in Yallingup, landing about 2:20pm. It is believed he injured himself on the reef.

More to come.
