Andy Dick: Hollywood comedian admits to smoking crack cocaine he got from stranger after overdose photos

Comedian Andy Dick was found unresponsive on a Hollywood street this week following an apparent overdose.
The Los Angeles Fire Department and police responded after receiving a call about a 59-year-old man in distress outside a building. TMZ published photos appearing to show the comedian slumped on a set of stairs as friends tried to help him.
Emergency responders confirmed to the outlet that the man involved was not taken to hospital.
Speaking with TMZ after the incident, Dick insists he was “100 per cent fine”, detailing a drug taking incident.
When asked how he was coping, he replied, “What do you mean by everything? Doesn’t it look like I’m 100 per cent fine, 110 per cent.”
He claimed the situation began when he sat down with another man who “was depressed” and “on the sidewalk.”
“There was a guy my age... he had kids and he was depressed. And he was on the sidewalk, and I’m like I’ll sit with you.
Dick told the outlet: “Then he whipped out, sorry but crack... I don’t mind a little crack every now and then.”
“That was stupid of me... I knew what that is and I said just give me some.”
In the new video, Dick was sitting beside two people who were with him at the time and one of them was live-streaming for some of the incident.
The actor has faced numerous legal and personal struggles in recent years, including arrests connected to drug and assault allegations.
He has also been candid in the past about his long-running battles with addiction.
