AFL Watch: Will Brodie and Liam Reidy continue dominant seasons for Peel Thunder in win over West Coast

A pair of forgotten Fremantle Dockers continued standout seasons at WAFL level on Saturday as Peel Thunder proved too good for West Coast at Lane Group Stadium. Here’s how all 11 AFL-listed players fared. James Aish: Continues to play an important role as an on-field leader in a young defence. Accumulated 24 disposals, few of which were wasted. Will Brodie: Hardly looked to get out of second gear but still proved far too good for an inexperienced West Coast midfield, winning 34 disposals. Also showed plenty of defensive intent by laying a team-high eight tackles. Hugh Davies: Did not have much to do in defence but held up his end when called upon. Jack Delean: Looked to be playing a role higher up the ground, depriving him of the opportunity to replicate the scoreboard impact he has provided in recent weeks. Isaiah Dudley: Showed plenty of his trademark flair in attack, kicking one set shot goal to go with three behinds which came from chances he was able to conjure up out of very little. Quinton Narkle: Did not look to be on significantly restricted minutes in a successful return from a knee injury. Won 22 disposals splitting time between the midfield and forward line. Ollie Murphy: Held his own defensively and is growing more comfortable with the ball in hand with every passing game. Charlie Nicholls: A first-quarter bomb from beyond the 50-metre arc was the highlight of a two-goal day. Nathan O’Driscoll: Had some kicks he would have wanted back but was still among his side’s best performers in a 24-disposal effort. Liam Reidy: Proved far too good for the Eagles’ trio of young rucks, who he won more hit-outs than combined. A good day could have been a great one had he produced a better return than 1.2 in front of goal. Aiden Riddle: Kicked multiple goals for the first time at the level with two as he continues to sharpen up his forward craft.
