A crash on one of the busiest stretches of Kwinana Freeway southbound caused peak hour chaos for commuters heading home for the weekend.

The crash was located before Manning Road in Como and debris was scattered across the left lane.

The crash has since been cleared.

A crash between two cars on Welshpool Road westbound at Hale Road was reported about 4.30pm.

Welshpool Road westbound was temporarily closed although it has since been reopened.

No injuries have been reported and the crash has since been cleared.

Another crash has been reported on Stephenson Road southbound before Scarborough Beach Road in Osborne Park at 4.47pm.

The right lane has been completely blocked by the crash and towing services are on site.

Traffic is slow in the area and Main Roads has advised drivers to remain cautious if travelling in the area.

A crash on one of the busiest stretches of Mitchell Freeway southbound also caused peak hour mayhem.

The crash — located at Hay Street in the Perth CBD — was reported by Main Roads at 3.45pm.

The two centre lanes of the intersection were blocked by the crash, which caused heavy congestion in conjunction with peak hour.

Towing services were on the scene.

The crash has since been cleared, but traffic remains heavy on approach.
