Little Spence St, Buchan St, Kidston St and Hartley St have been marked as boundaries to the exclusion zone under the Public Safety Preservation Act.

Members of the public have been advised to avoid the area.

Police say the incident is not related to Thursday’s shut down at Edge Hill, about six kilometres away, after a car was shot at following a crash near a school.

Emergency crews were called to a Collin Ave address following reports of a shot being fired about 1pm on Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles had collided and one person had fired a shot at another before running off. He has yet to be found.

Police investigations into the incident remain ongoing and police are looking to speak with three people.

They are described as a man with fair skin, black hair and no facial hair, a woman in her 30s with tan skin and wearing a dark top or dress, and a man in his 30s with tan skin, curly black hair and wearing a white shirt.

Members of the public are urged not to approach these people and to inform police if they see them.

While investigations remain ongoing, police believe there is no immediate threat to the public.

Police located two of the three people believed to be involved in a shooting but the search for a third person linked to the incident is ongoing.

The two people, including a man with a gunshot wound and a woman in her 30s, are currently assisting police with their investigation.
