VideoPop superstar Robbie Williams has jumped on the Ange Postecoglou bandwagon with a remake of his hit song "Angels"

Aussie manager Ange Postecoglou is turning heads after a hot start in the Premier League with Tottenham - and music legend Robbie Williams is the latest to jump on the ‘Angeball’ bandwagon.

Postecoglou, the first Australian to lead a team in England’s top flight, has enjoyed a strong start to life at Spurs with two wins and a draw from three games to sit third on the table.

While he had his detractors when taking the job, Postegelou has turned heads with his attacking philosophy which he has moulded over his career through the A-League, J-League and Scotland - affectionately known as Angeball.

It’s clearly caught the eye of Williams, who created a special rendition of his hit 1997 song “Angels” in tribute to the Spurs manager.

The singer references ex-Spurs managers Mauricio Pochettino, Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho and Christian Gross before finishing with: “I’m loving Big Ange instead”.

Williams ends the video by muttering: “I guess I’m a Spurs fan now then.”

The English press have also enjoyed Postegelou’s dry sense of humour most recently when he responded to Gary Neville’s criticism of copying Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s use of inverted full-backs.

“There’s no secret, I’m just copying Pep, mate!” Postecoglou said in response when asked about the comments on TNT sport leaving former England internationals Joe Cole and Peter Crouch in stitches.

Tottenham will next face Fulham on Wednesday, with kick-off scheduled for 2.45am WA time.
