Popular Loophole Brewing beer recalled over injury risk

A popular beer has been urgently recalled over risks excess alcohol and carbonation in the brew could lead to illness or injury.
The Loophole Brewing Co Pacific Ale 5 Litre Party Keg has been pulled from shelves due to secondary fermentation.


“Food products containing excess alcohol and carbonation may cause illness/injury if consumed,” the recall alert states.
Consumers have been urged not to drink the beer and to safely dispose of it.
“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the alert stated.
The beer was available for purchase at Costco’s across NSW, ACT, Victoria and Western Australia.
The affected products include the date markings Pkd 13/10/25 BB 13/10/26 and Pkd 15/10/25 BB 15/10/26.
