AFL: Jye Amiss has spearheaded another sound western derby victory for Fremantle.

The men in purple were boosted by the returns of Hayden Young and Michael Frederick while former Pie Mason Cox made a strong debut for the Dockers.

West Coast lost Deven Robertson and Jack Graham to injury but superstar Elliot Yeo and Milan Murdock replaced them with aplomb.

But it was not enough for the Eagles to overcome a classy Dockers outfit.

Recap all the action in our blog.

Allan-Glendenning Medal

Jordan Clark claims the medal for his 27 disposals, two clearances and 622 metres gained.

Jye Amiss finished second with Murphy Reid third.

FT: West Coast 41, Fremantle 97

The Dockers make it nine of the last 10 derby victories and they did it comfortably after halftime.

Fremantle were given a battle for a half but their class rose to the top.

Clark and Murphy Reid led the way while Amiss equals his career-high for goals with five.

West Coast did not dishonour themselves but starting the game with six behinds and then the constant turnovers sapped their confidence.

McCarthey and Harley Reid led the line in blue and gold while it was a frustrating day for Waterman who could have kicked five but ends with one.

It’s a flood

Bolton gets on the board with a nice crumb and the Dockers are just toying with the Eagles now.

Everything they do is classy and just highlights the major gap between the two sides.

Freo fans can get very excited with their run over the next few weeks.

Five!

Amiss is making his case for the medal as he opens the fourth with another goal.

It all started with Murphy Reid as he one the ball at an defensive exit spill and ran all the way through the middle before directing Amiss where to lead.

Fremantle continue to show why they should be in the premiership discussion.

They aren’t having the whole game their way but when they have the ball they are deadly, when they don’t, they are seriously hard to pass.

Clark is having a brilliant game from halfback and Amiss has finally re-discovered the form everyone hoped he had in him.

Tom McCarthey has been the Eagles’ best, especially with his ball movement.

Archer Reid has gone down the race for the Eagles but no news on why just yet.
